Knowing that he's healthy and strong because of me. I maintained a healthy lifestyle while pregnant with him by excercising and eating properly. I like to think it helped, anyway.
Also just watching him reach his milestones and seeing him smile at me makes me so proud and overwhelmed with love for him. I love my son so much!!!

Parenting Challenges:

Actually, Chase is an easy baby. We never have to wonder why he's crying. He only crys when he's hungry and when he's fighting his sleep. He never cries over messy diapers. He doesn't even cry during bath time or at the doctor's office when he's being poked and prodded. He's awesome!!
The only challenge is figuring out whether or not my hubby's going to get up first. haha!

 Well...where to start?? I'm 21 yrs old and my Husband and I just had our first child on October 26, 2008! He weighed in at 7lbs 12oz. hehe! Bear and I have been together for 5 yrs and are High School sweethearts. =) We met our Freshman year and my life has been nothing but wonderful with him in it. We have some parenting experience with our first baby Dexter, a shepherd mix. hehe! He's the best dog in the world and he's wonderful with his little brother, Chase We were both in college when we found out about our little miracle so right now school's been put on hold but we definately want to try & make it back. My Dad was in the military so my family & I had the awsome privilage of living overseas in Europe for 13 years. My prom was held in a 400 yr old castle in Heidelberg, Germany. Cool huh? That's pretty much it in a nut shell. We pray every night that our son will come out healthy & strong. We love you Chase! <3 |

Well, Chase Michael arrived yesterday (10/26) at 10:22pm and weighed in at 7 lbs 12 oz! He's healthy for the most part but it's been a rough day...
