My children are all out on their own and handling their lives very well

Ron played a lot of basketball and was in our local paper several times

I am an empty nester and I'm looking to connect with other Mums and / or Grandmas like me who want to make new friends and talk about the new challenges that are out there for us.

I kinda miss the pregnancy days and raising little ones. A few years ago I thought I'd be starting that all over again but a miscarriage would make it not to be so.

I work in an office now, but I'd really rather not be giving my time away. With that in mind, I am working on creating a Zazzle shop, and since I like doing a variety of creative things, I'd like to explore ways that I can do something that will allow me to reap the benefits of what I put my time and energy into, rather than being under the demands of other people with no real return for my efforts.

Ideally, if I could meet someone who shares some of the same interests that I do whom I could partner up with in this direction, that would be great.

I'm all about the girlie stuff: Knitting, sewing, crafting, crochet & quilting. I love to read and while I'm focussed right now on personal development, I love generational & historical family sagas, and I'm not above reading the trashy romance novels.
