I have an wonderful 5 1/2 year old boy, named Jareth Braden, delivered by forceps at 34 weeks, on Jan. 8th 2003, 2:18am, 5lbs 12 oz & 17 1/2 in., in Chandler, AZ. -he has been an AWESOME big brother since Fenix arrived! He is caring, helpful, and understanding! -he just started kindergarten. -can spell & write his name -say his alphabet -recognize & write almost all letters -count to 12 -recognize & write numbers up to 12
I also have an infant son named Fenix Brian-Robert, delivered by forceps at 39 weeks on June 2nd 2008, 7:42am, 7lbs .05oz, 21 in, in Clarion, IA. @ 3 MONTHS of age -hold his head up -sit up-right while being held -hit and grab for objects -looks for mom/dad/brother when we talk -stays awake most of the day -lifts his head and moves legs (like crawling) during tummy time -eat up about 6 oz per feeding -sleeps up to 4 hours straight
Parenting Challenges:
-handling a 5 1/2 yr old & a baby -my son is a behavioral problem in kindergarten already, so we are "re-structuring" our rules & schedule home to help out (hopefully) -dealing with BAD "baby blues" -parenting alone from 2pm-midnight -working outside the home part-time (mornings)
Jareth's interests are: video & computer games, STAR WARS, Ben 10, animals, his baby brother, numbers/calendars/clocks, drawing, the library, the park, staying @ gma's house, MOVIES, sleeping on the floor, painting, writing letters
Fenix's interests are: sleeping / eating / pooping! / chewing on things

My Life:
I was born, and live in Iowa, but lived in Mesa, AZ for 13 years and still kinda consider that home. I am a graphic and web designer and currently work for a credit union part time and do freelance in my free time. i love my job!
Was a single mom from the time i was pregnant with my 1st son, until he was 2 years old. It gave me the strength to do many things (like go to college). Single moms rock! Its a hard job - but i wouldn't have changed a second of it! My son and I have special bond because of it.
I have now been dating the same wonderful man for 3 1/2 years and we just had a baby boy ---> June 2nd 08

LOL oh yeah my brother is 8 years younger than me and i have 2 nephews that are 5 & 6 now and boys can be horriable at times!! But i bet girls can do the same... ill just wait and see
i am so terrified and everyone keeps telling me the same thing. i have told myself the same thing: every other women has done it before you and it doesnt help. i am a huge paranoid person and i just cant calm my nerves. i believe that once she is here i will forget about it, but i am terrified. my husband tries and supports me and i just dont know. thanks for hleping me though =]
thanks. i am starting to get scared. i think if i can just get through labor i will be alright but its a scary thought lol. your little ones are so cute!
yea they do seem bigger but then i remember isabella and she 7lbs when she was born and they seem so small compared to that. They were weighed this morning and AJ is 4 pounds even. I can't believe he's 4 lbs already.
