Im not the nurse, It sound like your your body is preparing for labor. I was in so much aching pain thru out my body in my third trimester.

During my pregnancy I would get pains as well and I was just about as far along as you are when they started... not really sure what caused it, never really asked my doctor.. but it could be the way the baby is sitting or something  ????

i'm about a week ahead of you and i've had this same thing going on, i'm not POSITIVE what it is but it started happening after my baby dropped and i think its from all the pressure and weight from baby but my doc says its not uncommon

Many moms experience inner thigh pain in the final weeks or pregnancy. Sometimes it is from the added pressure on nerves or the continued stretching of ligaments. If it is sharp shooting pain, it may be caused by the baby's head pressing on the cervix which has many nerve endings. In any event, the only thing that will completely end the problem is having the baby. In the mean time you might try warm compresses or frequent change of position to see if that gives you relief. Let us know what your doctor says.  :-)
