everyone knows of morning sickness during the early stages of pregnancy... but for the past couple weeks, every night i feel really sick and feeling like i have a fever. i haven't had any kind of morning sickness with my pregnancy. This is my first pregnancy, i'm about to be 30 weeks and i just want to make sure that's normal and what it is that could possibly be making me feel like this?

Many women experience "morning, noon and night sickness", feeling nauseated and vomiting at different times (or all the time) in the early weeks, and sometimes throughout their entire pregnancy. However, the fact that you have not experienced any nausea and are now feeling like you have a fever as well as feeling sick makes me wonder if something else is going on - possibly a flu like illness or some other infectious process. You should check with your doctor to be sure. Hope it will pass soon. Let us know how you are doing!

The final weeks of pregnancy can be VERY uncomfortable. Your body is stretched to its limits, and another little person is stretching, punching, kicking, and getting ready to come out. Just keep cecking with your health care provider and report any and all new symptoms you experience. High blood pressure needs to be checked often and it is especially important to keep it under control in pregnancy to prevent other complications. All the best to both of you. Please let us know how you are doing and when your babies arrive!
