so the night before last i started having bad braxton hicks contractions i couldnt even sleep then all day yesterday sharp pains on one side my back starts to hurt so bad i wanna just drop to my knees and cry and this happened last night too and im still having some sharp pain in my stomach i cant tell if its just a cramp or a contraction but i cant even walk when i get them has anyone experienced this before

As you near the end of your pregnancy there is a lot of extra strain and stretch on all of your abdominal muscles and many of your back muscles as well. The stretching and pressure on your ligaments and all of your abdominal structures can cause a great deal of discomfort. Anytime you have pain that is making you want to cry, you need to let your doctor know about it. Only your health care provider can tell if what you are experiencing is part of the normal pregnancy discomfort or if it is signaling a problem. Call him and see what he says. Please keep us posted. That happens to me after I have really bad BHC. I have them a lot, so this is something that I deal with on a daily basis. I think it has something to do with the stretching going on in there. If you take a hot shower and some tylenol sometimes that helps.
