Exercising will energize you. It also promotes bowel movement, and helps to strengthen-tone your muscles, thighs, and butt. It lubricates the fluids in your joints, helps you sleep better at night by relieving your stress, and increases your blood flow. If your muscles are fit chances are you’ll have a good or at least ease labor. Some say 3 hours of exercise a week will suffice but I’ll go the extra mile. Maybe start exercising 3 hours a week, 30 min each day and then try more time as your body gets used to it. Some pregnant women will have to decrease their workout time if they have high blood pleasure, vaginal bleeding, etc. Ask your doctor about what’s better for you. Walking is the most recommended exercise for pregnant women. Your temperature shouldn’t be greater than 102.6° during exercising in the first trimester of your pregnancy since it could interfere in the development of your fetus. Avoid exercising during the hot hours of the day and you should be fine. Good luck. |
