I say a month before is fine, that way you are prepared incase the baby comes a couple weeks early. You could put it up now and put plastic over it so it doesnt get dusty.

Whenever you want. I don't think there is a too soon to get ready. I started in my late second trimester, and I'm glad I did, because by my third tri I was so big and tired, and it was so hot that I didn't want to do anything. Just make sure everything keeps clean, and have fun!

I start getting super tired and not wanting to do anything when I am past the seven month mark, so I made sure everything was ready by then with my second, so I would say go ahead!! I wouldn't put ALL of it together in one day, but why not!!

yeah that does make sense....i am slowly feeling my energy dwindle these days lol but i could just add it to the "HONEY can you do this for me?" list haha though it is fun to put it together yourself

I'd go ahead and set it up. I wouldn't do it all at once but maybe do it over a few days so you can enjoy it and really build the anticipation. Having the room set up is a huge part of bonding and getting excited!

I waited until right now (almost 36 weeks) and am feeling super overwhelmed with getting everything ready. We were in the process of moving though which complicated matters. I would say end of the second trimester beginning of the third. I feel like he could be here any moment and I am just not ready with his stuff.

i set everything up when i got all my stuff at my baby shower. i think i was 30 weeks or so...maybe earlier than that. i think you should set it up whenever you want! and you can always rearrange everything if you want to change it up.

I'm not getting a baby shower because my family is several hours away, and I'm on bed rest. :( We have a lot of stuff that family has sent us though, so this week (I'm week 31) we are doing the crib and washing some clothes. We just moved also, so we're really cramped and trying to unpack everything, while getting his room set up at the same time! This lack of energy is really getting to me, plus, bed rest is annoying me!!!
