There is no right or wrong answer for this. Some parents teach their children respect, good manners, social etiquette, etc. Others think it’s important for their children to have fun and enjoy life, enjoy others and take advantage of every minute of pleasure they have because life, after all, is a tough journey. Whether you teach your child discipline, good morals, and responsibility or tolerance, respect and self worth, you are on the right track because you are trying to impart something you have learned to the next generation. Something I teach my children is eating healthy, staying healthy, study hard, and respect authorities, be kind to everyone and not retaliate when confronted but stay cool and give a wise answer in due time. Obviously, all of us have different things we value in life and our decisions will be based on the way we view the world or interact with it. Think about things you can teach your child today that will impact his/her future.
