Many moms experience inner thigh pain in the final weeks or pregnancy. Sometimes it is from the added pressure on nerves or the continued stretching of ligaments. If it is sharp shooting pain, it may be caused by the baby's head pressing on the cervix which has many nerve endings. In any event, the only thing that will completely end the problem is having the baby. In the mean time you might try warm compresses or frequent change of position to see if that gives you relief.
