Pain in lower belly

Since friday, I've been having this dull, achy pain in my lower belly. It hurts the worst when I walk. Idk if it's the babies or what.

You are now just over 17 weeks into your pregnancy, I would have thought this it your babies causing strain on your abdominal muscles and quite possibly the cartilage at the front of your pelvis as you have double trouble growing in the same space as a singleton baby would. I would suggest you see your doctor to rule out any problems with the pregnancy itself and get some support garments for your abdomen if needed.

I will be 13 weeks tomorrow and I started feeling those stretching pains about 1-2 weeks ago. It comes and goes but it can be annoying.

This being your first pregnancy, which can be extremley achy because your ligaments are stretching in ways they have never stretched before, you are also carrying for 2. That means your uterus is growing more rapidly to accommodate the room for your two babies. I would call your OB and let them know what you're feeling. They may want to see you to make sure everything is okay, or they may just say that it is normal.

I so understand, not about the two babies part though! lol. With my first pregnancy I was always worried about every ache and pain. I must have annoyed the crap out of my OB because I was calling so much. Towards the end, I would get so freaked if I felt a pain that I would go to the hospital just to make sure right then and there that everything was ok. This time around, I know what's normal and what isn't.

The ache is most likely caused by stretching ligaments, and there will be a lot more stretching as your uteurs and your babies grow. If you feel cramping, have any spotting or other discharge, or if you are worried by the pain, please contact your doctor and ask to be checked.

I had bad pains like that but they started around 13-14 weeks and the doctor said it was just stretching ligaments.... and im sure it is much more painful carrying two! I still get them and they are worse now then before because im now 23 weeks lol and she is much bigger then she was at 13 weeks.
