I was just wondering if it is normal for my right side to be going numb... like it feels like when your arm or something falls asleep but its around my ribs on my right side... She spends a lot of her time up in my ribs on that side but is it normal for it to be numb and tingly? Im 24 weeks now so.. I have my monthly appointment tomorrow but I was just wondering if anyone else has had this or if its normal???

My little girl seems to snuggle to my lower left side and this sometimes has that odd numb feeling (kinda like it's not quite numb yet but is getting there) I poke her away and rub the area to encourage blood flow back to the area, seems to work for me. Is it normal?? I don't know, mention it to your doctor though just to be sure.

Your baby (or your growing uterus) is probably pressing against blood vessels and diminishing the circulation in that spot, very much like lying on your arm in a certain way causes it to "fall asleep". Do mention it to your doctor at your appointment, and let us know what he says. Anyone else have this experience?

Yeah I get that when I lay down, my right arm goes numb. It hasn't been doing it any more since baby went head down though. My Midwife says it was probably baby pressing on blood vessels.

Ya I try to fall asleep on my left side but a lot of times I end up on my right. in my whole right side numbs up and even my ear hurts lol. But if your sleeping on your left side everything should be normal, Like in my case if your not sleeping on your left you will need to train yourself too.
