It is very normal to experience leaking breasts during pregnancy, although some women do not have this occur. Your body is preparing perfect food to nourish and protect your baby as soon as he/she arrives. For those moms who do not experience leaking, though, there is nothing to worry about. Once you put your baby to your breast, your milk will come.

I'm no breastfeeding guru because I was unable to breastfeed my first two but I am hoping to give it a go again this time. I've had have milk production from quite early which if stimulated it does leak out yet doesn't if I leave my breasts alone. I had a read about it and apparently it is the 'touch' that causes it so that when baby touches your breast the milk comes...of course at the moment it is shirts, bed sheets and whatever else that is touching them that is causing them to leak, but what I also read is that your body 'learns' (for want of a better description) to prepare for feeding at the right times once some form of routine is established, so if your baby is asleep and is due a feed your breasts will feel and be ready to perform yet will be less likely to leak in between because it 'knows' it is not time yet. It was quite an interesting read, not sure if I explained what I'd read properly lol.
