No, clothing doesn't make breastfeeding increase or decrease. Sometimes if you wear very tight clothing it can make the milk decrease because it puts pressure on your ducts. But warm clothing shouldn't do anything. Yes, you should always wash new clothing before putting it on your baby, Heath or yourself. Clothing when bought from the store has been through a lot of people's hands, boxes, plastic wrapping, warehouses, etc. They are dirty.

I never heard of putting on more clothes, I would say that is a myth. I know that if you drink a beer it can help increase your milk supply. and as for the clothes trust me you want to wash them I use to work at Wal-mart and those back rooms are filty plus those clothes would sit there for awhile sometimes and they also put chemicals on the clothes that is why they smell like that when they are new.

The amount of clothing you wear has nothing to do with your milk supply. The more you breastfeed your baby, the more milk you will make. Always wash new clothes before you wear them or put them on your baby.
