Breathing Problems already?

Topics: 27   Posts: 39

Hi Ladies! okay so i have an issue i guess or i think! is it normal for women at 2 1/2 months pregnant to have trouble breathing? Im 11 weeks and expecting my third child. the only way to describe this feeling is to say that with my last two pregnacys i felt like this at the end of my 2nd trimester/begining of my third trimester? could the baby be doin this ,this early? or does this sound like i could possiably have a heart/breathing problem of my own? thanks for reading advice would be greatly appriceated

It could be, I know some people do measure bigger for many reasons. Have you had an U/S done yet, to confirm your edd and that their is just 1 baby in there?

Your body is experienced in baby baking so your uterus may well be rising higher sooner, pushing your organs upward (this puts pressure on your diaphragm and lungs). I would say it is still too early for this to be causing breathing problems but I wouldnt totally rule it out just yet. best to wait for your scan to rule out multiples as mommyhelene said, unless you are really strugging to breath in which case seek help and advice sooner. I wouldn't worry too much about any serious respiratory or cardiac problems.

It is but your uterus is not the only thing that knows what is happening inside it, your abdominal muscles and the rest of your body knows too. This and the fact relaxin will be doing its job then everything may well be looking like pregnancy (which is good seeing as you are lol) it's just unlikely to be baby just yet. I think I have a picture of my 10week belly which looks like I'm pregnant (which I am pregnant with my third in that picture) but I am aware that it is more likely my loosening muscles. However we are all different :~) I had pictures of my pregnant belly almost every week lol

I have asthma so I had breathing problems regarding that the first month pregnant and didn't start to have breathing problems from the pregnancy until around 25 weeks pregnant or so. I am 28 weeks 6 days today and have breathing problems almost daily.
