It is not normal to experience fever with pregnancy. You will need to speak to your doctor as an infection at any time can cause premature birth. Ask to be checked for a urinary tract infection, UTI, which is rather common in pregnancy, as this can cause fever. Always telephone your doctor or midwife with any changes in your health during pregnancy, do not wait and worry until your next scheduled appointment.
