It really ticks me off to see a mother lose her cool with a toddler in public and begin to make a fool of herself by swearing at her child!!!
Don't get me wrong I have been very irrated from time to time, but I think it's crucial to keep your composure and be an adult when trying to discipline your child!!
This sort of thing pisses me off!

That angers me too. I hate seeing parents humiliate their kids.

i hate that..recently at a party that was thrown for my boss. one of my cowworkers son said something that she did not like so she smacked him twice i did not see where she hit him because i could not look..it was horrible i mean she had no respect for the people around her and espspecially not her child

ok so yesterday 03-14-09 we had a party for my boss..it was great everyone was having fun then something a awkward happened my cowworkers son said something to her that she did not like so she smacked him a couple of times..and around a crowd of people at that..it was horrible i felt so bad for him there are so many ways to have handled the situation..i should have said something but i feel so bad that i did not..

I use to work at wally world and I use to see that all the time, some of the kids needed a butt whoppin but I wouldnt do it at the store, it does make you look like an idoit.

I agree!!!!!!!!!! I find swearing at your child completely wrong. Its verbal abuse and can impact a child greatly. Never mind when you get that upset the child is winning the battle. Someone in the situation needs to be the adult. There are so many good ways to get your point across to correct behavior then yelling.
