Hey my name is Allison Carter. I am 18 years old and expecting a baby girl sometime around November 28, 2008 and I couldn't be more excited! I definately live a very busy life considering I work full time and go take online school. I am single... The baby's dad left me when I was 5 months along and moved to Connecticut and got back with his ex. I was heartbroken at first but I after I think about it, I'll do better without him!!! Its his loss, not mine. But thank god a have a really supportive family otherwise I honestly don't know where I would be. I am a little nervous about giving birth since this is my first child so if you have any advice, I'll take it!
**My inspiration is definately my mother. She's been there through thick and thin and even though we've had some rough times, she's always stuck by my side and pulled me through them. I love you mom!
**Another inspiration is single mothers- It's hard and it requires a lot of strength to be one.

I am super excited!! I saw my doc yesterday & I have high blood pressure.. thats 2 visits where my b/p was high. So he has me doing a 24 hour pee test.. YUCK!!! I am going to drop it off tomorrow & then see him again Thurs. He is going to do another u/s to make sure the baby is okay but he said he is probably going to induce me Friday or early next week. So I am kind of freaking out.. just because I was really hoping to get everything 100% ready for him this weekend. For the most part we have everything ready though.. just need some more diapers & I want to get a diaper genie thingy too. How are you?? Do you have everything ready??
Were good thanks for asking. These last days will go so slow you won't be able to take it anymore. Its like really hard to bare lol. I was almost 3 weeks last WITH aLYSSA. sO THEY FINALLY HAD TO INDUCE ME. bUT YOUR LITTLE GIRL WILL BE HERE BEFORE YOU KNOW IT. 17 DAYS SEEMS LIKE FOREVER WHEN YOUR PREGNANT BUT ITS NOT. mINE WENT BY SO FAST THEN THE NEXT THING i KNOW IM LAYING IN A HOSPTIAL BED. dO YOU HAVE MYSPACE???? Mine is www.myspace.com/brenda_14_777. So other then wanting your little girl how are you???? How are you feeling these last few weeks can be really hard on the mommys. I hope your doing well. man o man i couldnt breast feed.... my boobs hurt so bad i dont think i coulda stood it. my dr wouldnt even give me the shot to dry them up. he told me to tie them down with an ace bandage. they got so big i thought that were going to burst. they reminded me of pamela anderson! lol. they have just now went down but they are still leaking. i woulda been a wonderful breastfeeder if i coulda stood it. he is doing good though. you should be having your baby any day now. are you excited!!!????
Yep, she was born on the 6th of november, i went into labor fine and my dr induced me a week earlier but after 22 hours of labor and i was fully dialated but her head was stuck under my pelvic bone so i had to have an emergency c-section... its kinda painful but all worth having my beautiful babygirl here... she weighed 6lbs 10 ounces and was 19ins long she is soo tiny... but so precious!

dont worry she will come whenever she is ready! && i went to the doctor the friday before i had him and the doctor said that i was doing NOTHING and that he thought that i wouldnt be able to go into labor on my own, but low and behold 2 days after that he was here! lol so dont get frustrated she'll be here whenever she wants! oh have you tried laying down and propping your legs up on a bunch of pillows, that kinda helped with my ankles.. && the only other thing that helped was just keeping off your feet as much as possible
&& once she gets here, seriously cherish EVERY moment because time will go by so fast.. zakkry is a month old tomorrow and he's already getting so big.. just dont take any moment for granted! :)
oh girl i TOTALLY understand! i started being like that at 37 weeks and i got SO impatient cause every week i would go into the doctor expecting to be dilating at least a little bit and i NEVER did anything.. it was horrible.. i was 2 days past my due date and it felt like 2 years.. lol.. but in the end he was healthy and thats really all that mattered
naw i didnt get induced... i just woke up to liquid going everywhere... then i woke my husband up and told him my water had broken and he was freaking out. i have been scared since before i got pregnant to have a baby bc i am so small. i was only 92 lbs b4 i got pregnant... so when my water finally broke i got scared and was doing everything in the world i could do to keep from going to the hospital... i moped up the hardwood floors in out bedroom from all the amnoitic fluids and everything... he was so mad hahaha
well he is still considered a preemie. wednesday he will be 2 weeks old. he weighed 5lbs and 12 oz and was 18 3/4 in long... he went to hos first dr appt. last monday which was 5 days after he was born and already weighed 5lbs 14 oz. before he left the hospital he had lost down to 5 lbs 8 oz so he is doing really good. :) you dont have too long to go yourself. i know you are super excited!
ive been in early labor since last wednesday contractions still 5 to 6 mns apart the medice to stop them dont work so i have to stay in this pain until im 37 weeks in 2 days it sucks badly
