I am having problems with my son sleeping, its not that he wants to sleep with my husband and I, but more that he doesnt want to be in the crib, he wants to be in a bed, with OR without us. I want to keep him in his crib atleast till he walks, Im just wondering how long some of your mothers let your children cry themselves to sleep, or cry before you go in (aside from when they are really really screaming)

I WAS RECENTLY ACCUSED BY A FRIEND OF BEING A PERSON WHO DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE WELLBEING OF ANIMALS. THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE SHE INVITED ME TO A PROTEST TO SAVE ANIMALS AT A SHELTER N I REFUSED BECAUSE I HAVE AN 11MTH SON N AM 6 MTHS PREGNANT..I TOLD HER IT WASNT SOMETHING I WAS INTERESTED IN..I DO LOVE ANIMALS I PERSONALLY DONT VALUE THEM THE SAME BUT SHE WAS SAYING THAT AN ANIMALS LIFE IS JUST AS PRECIOUS AS THE LIFE OF AN INFANT..I JUST DONT FEEL THE SAME I LOVE A NIMALS BUT A CHILD I VALUE A MILLION TIMES MORE..AM I WRONG

My son will be 2 months August 5th..when he plays on his belly he has NO problem turning his head from side to side. Ever since the day he came home I would place him on his back to sleep and he would scream non-stop..I tried putting him on his side but he did the same thing. I then thought it might be colic but no..now what I have been doing is placing him on his belly to fall asleep then flipping him on his back to sleep..and it was working but now he wakes up no matter how deep the sleep. Just wondering how many of you mothers out there allow your babies to sleep comfortably on their places?

Just wondernig how everyone felt about it. I found it to be moving, and powerful. I had tears when the entire auditorium went into standing ovation and began cheering "Yes We Can". I was outraged by the ignorance of those who attempted to ruin this day for the graduates, Obama, and for the historical moment he was creating... What did you think?
